The Alpine Club strives to develop youth talent while teaching them proper technique used in everyday skiing or used to compete at a local and regional level with other clubs in the Eastern Quebec ski zone.
The club is open to any youth aged 5 years and older who are interested in learning technique or competing. The only prerequisites are that the youth must be able and comfortable to ride the chairlift accompanied and/or alone. Alpine club activities and training are usually held on weekends and schedules are determined by coaches.
Guidance
Alpine club participants are taught and accompanied by a team of qualified coaches. The club is managed by parents and volunteers that also act as marshals during ski events. During club activities / training parents don’t need to be present and can enjoy Val D’irene beautiful slopes.
